Tips For Become an Expert Paintball Player

Becoming a better paintball player can be accomplished by following the following steps.

Because the game requires a lot of running, jumping, crawling, and walking, one should avoid the use of drugs and alcohol. Become physically fit, it is also helpful to start an exercise program to eliminate some of the sore muscles you will have if you go out for an all-day game without preparation.

Know your playing area. Assessing the playing area before playing on a new field will allow you to find the best shooting areas and escape routes should they be needed.

Keep your equipment clean and in good working order. There is nothing worse than being in the middle of a game and having your equipment malfunction due to dirty paint not being cleaned off from a previous game. Make sure you have replacement batteries if your gun requires them.

Wear clothing that blends into your surroundings. There is nothing worse than sticking out like a sore thumb. You will have every player on the opposing team shooting at you. The clothing should not make noise while you move.

Pack extra water and snacks for between games. A dehydrated, hungry player will not perform up to their potential.

Most learning occurs during the game; however reading about the different tactics and games that is being played by others will also help you to improve your game. Online sites, magazines and books are excellent resources in the quest to master the game of paintball.

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. No one ever learned anything without making mistakes along the way. After each game review the mistakes that were made and try not to make the same ones again.

As Mary Grace Rodart states in her book titled, Three Most Important Words In Life Are Attitude, the three most important words in life are attitude, attitude, attitude. One will not become a winner until they can visualize themselves as one. So start thinking about yourself as the best player on the field!

Having the best gun and upgrades will also make a big difference in how you play the game. There is a huge difference between having a gun that can shoot 10-12 balls per second to one that can shot 30 plus. If you don’t agree, just wait until you are on the receiving end. You will be rushing to your local paintball store to buy one before your next game.

Becoming an expert paintballer takes practice, practice and more practice. So go have some fun and improve your game skills.
