Buying the Right Paintball Gun Tips

Paintball can be very fun and challenging game for everyone that plays it. But when you first start you will need equipment for your paintball hobby. First off you need to get safe gear, then you need a paintball gun. You just can’t play paintball with out a paintball gun. For a novice player, your first thought is I will ask the guy at the store to help with picking out the gun. Sometimes the salesmen are in it for the money and will rob you blind, then again he may help but not know nothing about the sport. Most people need to experience any sport before really knowing the gear they need. Also knowing your personality and what you feel right with is another consideration. Before jumping into the purchase there is also budget to consider so how much paintball equipment can you afford.

A paintball gun will be a big investment most of the time. Some paintball guns run in the range of $1,000 range, having a price that you agree with in mind is the first step. Good for you , there are lot of great paintball guns with a much lower price. So you don’t have to take out a loan to get your first paintball gun.

First off you need to consider what style you want, cause you will not be in slower positions of the game for long. Soon your playing will be for speed and challenging, so keep that in mind for your first purchase. Usually you have buddies playing the game with you too. Always ask their advise also if they are experienced players. Most people love to talk about what their equipment is and how much they paid for it.

Next place to get ideas is reviews of equipment by players or professionals of the game in magazines or on the internet. So read some reviews of the different guns and equipment before your purchase. Get a feel for the price ranges your particular gun you like are selling at. If you can first try these guns out, do that too. You can also think about borrowing a gun from someone to get the feel of what you like or what a paintball actually does play and feel like.

Renting one could also be an option on one of the paintball fields to use that way you could get a feel for the game and some experience before your purchase. I think this is the most beneficial way to experiment with the different guns. Usually rentals are beginner models and some better models. Paintball is a fast paced action sport to get into. It is a physical game and strategy and common sense are great talents. Whether one is purchased outright, borrowed or rented, finding a gun that you are comfortable with is important. Make sure you understand the basics of the gun can make all the difference on how good you play in the fields.

Paintball Sniper Tips – Sniper Gear

When you are playing paintball as a paintball sniper you need to think about the gear you will need. Gear usually depends on a few factors. There are certain things you might consider for gear including a vest, belt, boots, ammo, guns, food, and more.

When you pack the gear you want for your sniper mission playing paintball you need to consider how long you plan on being out on the playing field. Are you playing for an entire weekend or are you playing for just a few hours? This will answer the question on whether or not you need to pack food and water to last you.

You should also consider the area you are playing in and the weather. If the weather is going to be nice then you won’t need any rain gear. If you are anticipating hot weather then you should be sure to bring plenty of water with you and sunscreen if you need it. Your clothing should be lightweight so you don’t overheat.

When you are a sniper certain parts of your gear should include the clothing you wear. You might want to wear a vest that is camouflage. This will help you blend in with the atmosphere and allow you to store certain items in it. Some of the things that vests will hold include ammo, a pistol, water, and more. A vest can come in handy for the compartments alone.

If you choose not to wear a vest then you might consider a belt or a hip sack to carry additional items with you like ammo and things. You should have a holster or something to put a pistol on. As a sniper you may be taking long range shots but if you are up close on the enemy you need a gun to shoot them with. You cannot shoot an enemy up close with a sniper rifle.

Gear also includes the type of shoes you wear while you are on the terrain playing the game. You want to be sure your ankles and feet are protected from rocks and rough terrain. It would be silly to wear flip flops. You might want to buy a pair of boots just for the game.

When you are a paintball sniper in a paintball match you need to be sure you do not run out of ammunition. Be sure you bring plenty of rounds. If you have extra clips this can be beneficial. There are grenade loaders that allow you to easily load your weapon quickly by putting the opening of the loader on the gun and not spilling the paintballs everywhere.

There are many considerations when you pack gear for your paintball sniper mission. You need to consider the clothing you wear for the weather conditions you expect. You should always wear a form of combat boots for protection and maneuvering in so you don’t get hurt. Anticipate if you need food and be sure to bring plenty of water. Bring a ton of ammo, an extra handgun, and be ready to take out the enemy.

Paintball For Newbies and Dummies

Paintball is slowly gaining ground and raising interest in a lot of people today. Back in the 1980s a couple of friends wanted to simulate the African safari experience of one of their friends and invented a raw version of paintball, where they hunt their opponents rather than animals in the forest.

About 10 million Americans are playing paintball, most of which are male with ages ranging from 18 to 40. It can totally encompass any age bracket. Players are usually divided in teams and in its most basic form, in order to win, you need to shoot or take down all the players of the imposing team. A lot of variations already came out and since it’s a sport with no rigid structure, you and your friends can add your own twist to the game.

The basic equipment of paintball are masks, paintball gun and paintball. Paintball masks are customized for the game and it usually comes with earflaps and would cover the whole of the face. The actual paintball is a soft gel capsule with paint inside which would break easily upon contact. Paintball equipment usually costs somewhere around $100 but if you’re just starting then I would recommend that you rent the equipment first from the paintball field where you will be playing. This will cost less with $10 to $80 per day.

As you get your feel around the game and advance to advanced levels, then you can invest on high tech equipment which would improve your speed, hitting accuracy and agility in playing the game.

If you want to be serious about your paintball game, then it’s high time to do some exercises that are a combination of cardio workout and strength training. Do a combination of these for at least 3 times a week but don’t overdo it and exercise everyday. Let you body rest in between workouts. Cardio workouts can be as simple as jogging or riding a bike. Strength training improves your speed and endurance to last the whole game without getting too tired. Diet is also important; choose fruits and vegetables instead of fatty and sugary food.

As a newbie, you need to know the safety precautions of the game. It is considered as one of the safest sports around but keep in mind we must exercise caution in whatever we do. Always wear proper protective gear while playing paintball. Blind firing is discouraged because you might hit someone or something in close range that can lead to injuries.

The basics of the game are simple. There are variations available but the simplest is to take out every member of the opposing team by hitting them with a paintball. Another popular variation is getting the flag of the opposing team; whoever gets the flag faster is the winner. Lastly, there is a variation called ‘king of the hill’ in which the teams try to capture the base of the opposing team. Whoever holds the base ‘hostage’ the longest wins the game.

Remember, the most important thing in playing paintball is having FUN!
