Paintball For Beginners – Useful Tips
Paintball realises our childish dreams about playing “the war”. The best advantage is that we do not pretend that we shoot, but we really act and take part in this event. Aims and rules may be different. One common feature is that paintball uses weapon called “marker” with gel paint balls.
The most popular form of paintball is one, in which sole aim is to prize the enemy flag. Players are divided for two teams. Each one puts its flag in one chosen place – the base. Goal of the game is to take the opponent’s one and bring it to our base.
How to start?
First of all – you need to be adult (if you are not, need parents permission for playing). The best place for paintball is forest or special playing resort. Obviously it should be empty space, far away from city and crowds. Equipment for game you can pot in 3 ways:
- Borrowing from your friend who plays paintball
- Renting in some paintball resort
- Buying your own equipment (the best option, but also expensive).
Safety rules
The most important rules you need to follow while playing paintball are:
- Never take off your mask during the game, when you are in playing area
- After the game always stem the barrel
- Aim and shoot nor to people who are not playing, neither to animals
- Follow the tips of equipment producer
- Make sure that playing area is safe (do accidental people do not have access to it?)
Does it hurt?
That is the first question of every paintball beginner. Getting shot in uncovered skin can be painful, but there is nothing to be scared of. Usually players are so excited that do not even feel the pain. To prevent the pain you can use plastic protectors for neck and corpus. It is common to use also gloves and hats during the game. Also practical and comfortable solution are knee protectors. To avoid stock doves it is good to remember about not sticking the barrel directly to someone’s body.
